Personal Biography:
Soma Bose is an accomplished educator and Special Education professional being RCI registered with extensive expertise in supporting children with visual impairment and diverse learning needs. Her academic journey reflects deep commitment and excellence, holding Master’s degrees in Bengali and Education, along with an M.Phil in Bengali, which strengthens her command over language, pedagogy, and child development.
She further specialized in the field of special education with a B.Ed in Special Education (VI) and M.Ed in Special Education (VI), gaining advanced training in techniques for teaching children with visual impairment, adapting learning materials, developing tactile resources, and creating inclusive learning environments.
Soma Bose has worked with some of the most respected institutions in the field, including the Calcutta Blind School and Ramakrishna Mission, Narendrapur & RKVM, where she gained invaluable hands-on experience in supporting children with visual challenges, behavioural needs, and learning difficulties. Her work emphasizes strengthening concept development, communication, mobility skills, tactile learning, and academic progress.
